“LOW BATTERY” is a personal and intimate project about my daily life in the Netherlands. Every single day most of us carry a smart device, which becomes an invisible companion of our common life situations. I decided to capture my daily life activities to analyze and feel how often we are being followed by modern technologies almost everywhere. I was using a special application on my smartphone, it gave me alerts when my phone reached a certain battery level (starting from 100%) which led to a new picture, a new quote and a new location of my life and feelings every day. The purpose of this is to take a look into) myself, how every new day is different (or the same?) and how dependant most of us are on smart devices on our daily basis.
